Renee U. McLaughlin, LCPC & NCC Founder, Therapist
Renee U. McLaughlin is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Nationally Board Certified (NCC). She views therapy as an opportunity to guide individuals through a process of healing. She utilizes their strengths, values, and support systems to assist them in living a full and healthy life. Renee employs various evidence-based therapeutic approaches to create a safe, confidential, and clinical environment, helping people feel comfortable sharing their stories.
Renee is passionate about helping individuals of all ages and backgrounds. She tends to counsel those who have experienced adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Renee’s Christian beliefs enable her to appreciate the significant role that faith plays in holistic treatment.
As an educator, Renee has served in the public school system for over 20 years in various capacities. She is also a retired Major in the U.S. Army/Maryland National Guard and a Bronze Star recipient, having served honorably for over 20 years.
Renee enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
